Shadow then declined as Lyric took an interest in making him his slave, noting he served no one. When Lyric asked if he objected with this, Shadow replied he did not as justice had to be done. He was prepared to fight them again but then sees the beaten Lyric and gives his approval before walking away.įinding Lyric excavating an area for a lost crystal of power, Shadow confronted the snake-like villain and wondered if he needed an army for that. Sonic and Tails are quickly able to defeat Shadow when Sonic kicks him into a portal that sends him to the future after Sonic and friends have defeated Lyric.
